Zovirax is branded drug name for Acyclovir launched by GlaxoSmithKline in market. It is a nucleoside analog anitviral medicine to treat viral diseases caused by herpes virus (like Herpes zoster) and Chicken Pox (caused by varicella zoster virus (VZV). Acyclovir is available in tablet, capsule and in suspension form.
